What Does Heimdal Pro (HP) Deliver Which Norton Security Does Not?

Time Now: 4:22 EDT.

An HP discount of 70% is running for 10 more hours on BitsDuJour.  An unanswered question at this moment is whether or not Heimdal Pro adds anything to Norton Security (NS).  I have a current, complete NS purchase running on my Windows 10 (W10) PC.

HP is designed to run alongside antivirus solutions. It is proactive and scans all incoming and outgoing Internet traffic (HTTP, HTTPS and DNS) for cyber threats, blocking them before they develop into attacks. At its core is a traffic scanning engine designed to block dangerous websites and malicious content that deliver ransomware, banking trojans, data-stealing malware, and other threats that traditional signature-based antivirus cannot detect. HP also includes a feature called VectorN Detection, which blocks both known and unknown malware by detecting communication patterns in users’ internet traffic.

HP cannot remove malware.

Is Heimdal A Traditional Antivirus Solution?

Heimdal has been specifically designed to protect you from financial and data stealing malware, while doing banking operations and keep you safe from Zero Hour malware and security exploits frequently employed by IT criminals.

Heimdal is a proactive security solution that filters cyber threats before they reach your system, but also during and after cyber attacks. It does not work like a traditional antivirus, but rather complements it.* Heimdal is focused on proactive Internet security, while antivirus is focused on reactive security.

Learn more about this by going to the Why Heimdal page on our website.

    * My underline.

    There is a pretty good review of HP here.

    A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.
