OK, we now have a working Firefox v.44 and the Norton Toolbar seems to be OK, so the question now is: When will the Vault be back in service, please?
All we can say is to check the announcements at the top of the forum page.
Unfortunately, the answer, that no one wants to hear again, is it will be released when it is fully developed and tested.
Thanks for that. Along with millions of others, I suppose, I do hope it gets sorted quickly. The work-round is driving me mad.
I am guessing this summer. Firefox is changing their extension API (again) to WebExtensions in a future release sometime in the spring or summer so I don't think Norton wants to do it twice.
Thanks PM. I'm going to have to look for a temporary alternative in that case. Is there an obvious choice?
I've done a bit of DIY and this gets good reviews: http://uk.pcmag.com/lastpass-30/504/review/lastpass-30
It seems to offer all the features I want. Has anybody heard of any issues?
I have heard that many Firefox users have been using that one as a temporary work around. I haven't heard of any particular date when it will be ready and released. As they say, it will be released when it's ready. I have read on a Mozilla site that many users are angry at Mozilla because the extensions that they need haven't been approved yet and some don't have any one to submit them, but they are perfectly safe. Many are leaving Firefox.
Thanks for that. I have it installed now and it looks OK, so far. Just about to start reading the 225 page user manual ....
