Windows 10 & Norton Scanning

Hi, When new, my PC was installed with Windows 7. A few months ago, Microsoft did an automatic installation of Windows 10. Since then, when I attempt a Norton scan (Full or Quick) the results come back as nothing found, whereas before there was always a small security issue (s) that were detected and removed. What has changed please?

Re: Windows 10 & Norton Scanning

Hi, Bill. Possibly with the security improvements with the MS upgrade, there's been nothing to find.

If a Full Scan turns up nothing, then it's a good day !

Re: Windows 10 & Norton Scanning

I suspect it could just be tracking cookies which Norton has been hit-and-miss with for quite a while.

Re: Windows 10 & Norton Scanning

Glad to help, Bill.

You can set your browser/s to block third-party cookies which will stop most tracking cookies anyway.  Or you can use a program like CCleaner to clean selected cookies.

All the best.
