Windows 8.1 Norton Security Asking For Password, None Working, Cannot Reset
I am a long-time user of all levels of Norton Security. I have NEVER had an issue that has been going on for a couple of months that I need to get fixed. Whenever I click on the Norton Security button, the screen comes up, all green. In fact, my "Signed In Name" comes up correctly. The issue is whenever I attempt to change or add any features, it is now asking for a password. I have tried all of my Norton passwords and NONE work, and I cannot find a way to reset or request a password assist through my Norton Account either.
I CAN access my on-line Norton account, my Norton Vault, etc, however what I CANNOT do is change ANYTHING, stop a Scan, or make ANY changes without having the Password Request pop-up.
I CAN also: move around and view almost everything within the program, however, I do not recall ever setting the "Tamper Protection Up" so I am almost positive THIS is the issue.
So, How Do I Reset The Password for this so I can go back to actively managing and monitoring my Norton Security, Installed Program?
I truly appreciate anyone's assistance with this. I have looked through many, many threads as well as searching all over the Web for on-line solutions, so I apologize in advance if this has already been covered, I just cannot locate it.
