So my windows defender says actions need with a red x and when i open it everything is ok with the green check marks. Norton also says that it’s ok too. But why would it have a red x if everything is ok? Please help! Thanks you.

Hello Will. Have you restarted the computer since this discovery?

Have you turned off the Windows Fast Startup feature and then restarted your computer? If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

I’m fine with it saying that as long as it’s not a virus trying to make it look lol there no threats

It is a communication error between Norton and Windows. This has happened to many users after getting one of the major Windows 10 updates. It does not affect all users, and it usually sorts itself out after a few restarts. Sometimes a reinstall of Norton is required to stop this message.
