Windows Remote Desktop problem

A bit over trying to repeatedly having to fault find Norton Firewall settings to keep RDP going. Why doesn't Norton make this simpler? It was working perfectly for months but after taking one laptop away and joining other networks now I can't get Norton to allow Remote Desktop through. If I disable the firewall for a minute and connect all works fine until computer sleeps or disconnects. Have tried all the settings, allowed this and that and its on a private network and bla bla bla but none of this was necessary last week. I am suspicious that a large Norton update while I was away has made Norton so secure it can't even be used by the owner :) For God's sake, why isn't there just a button to enable Remote Desktop - oh wait, there is but its already enabled at both ends......
