Windows Vista and Norton Security 2016

Recently purchased Norton Security 2016 (5 users) and updated all my computers. I have the following OS (3 Windows 10, 1-Windows Vista, & 1- Windows XP). My issue is ONLY the Vista OS will not update with any of the new definition files. I keep getting a "fail" and fix is needed. I run the fix only to have the next live update fail. Not sure why this is happening.

Re: Windows Vista and Norton Security 2016

Do you have the latest service pack for Vista?

What security software did you have before installing Norton Security?

It could be that there is some corruption of your Norton installation. You can get a fresh install by downloading and running the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.  www.norton.com/nrnr

Be sure you read the Before you Begin section, and run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
