Norton Identity Safe not connecting.

Vault won't open. Network connection not available for this but ok for all other web site access. Working for months prior to this up to 24 hours ago. Boxing Day here in Sydney. PC has been rebooted multiple times to no avail. Running Windows 8.1. Messages is Vault Closed. The operation timed out. Check network connection and retry. Network connection fine and proven. Suspect Symantec/Norton need to reboot something.

Yes. Signed in and provided Identity Safe password. Identity Safe Logins displayed. Norton toolbar still says that Vault is closed. Tried opening vault again (4.5 hrs later) and now works fine???

Thanks for help. Would love to know why it failed.

If you can log in using the online ID safe then you will need to uninstall/reinstall the software. You can use the Norton 'uninstall/reinstall tool' to do this.

Look at the main Norton screen at the top right. If your email address is shown, click on the email address and click Sign Out. Restart your computer, then try to sign into Identity Safe.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
