Access ID Safe from NS Application

When I access Identity Safe from Norton Security (ver 22.14.2.13), it brings up a freestanding window I much prefer to the browser version, as it displays more information on the screen at a time.  The browser version's low information density design is a pain to use when searching for an entry or working with lengthy notes.  The freestanding window also has clear indication and control of the vault open/closed status.  BUT--if you try to access a website via the logins page, the open vault status is not recognized, and you have to login in to the vault a second time in the browser.  Is this normal behavior, or have I missed something here?

Re: Access ID Safe from NS Application

If you are referring to opening the vault in NS, then going to a browser and trying to get a login from the vault, that cannot be done. The vault feature in NS does not connect to the browser extensions in any way, except they both access the same vault. One does not know if the other is open.

As a matter of fact a login does not even follow different browsers. If you open the vault in Chrome and then open Firefox, you will have to open the vault again in FF.

This is by design. Is it optimal, probably not.

Re: Access ID Safe from NS Application

Thank you for your response.  Guess I'm suggesting in a backward way that I don't enjoy the browser experience as much because the graphic design seems to emphasize wide open spaces, big icons, and little information content per page.  Maybe there's a place where I could be expressing these suggestions.
