Missing fields (Tags, Login Notes) in Norton Password Manager

I have recently started using the Norton Password Manager app (the latest version with the on-line Vault).

In Windows I0, I can open my Vault from either (a) the Norton window /Online Safety or (b) the Google Chrome extension.  If I do (a) I can add and edit Tags for each Login.  If I do (b) I don't see the Tags.

In Android, the Norton Password Manager app has a very useful field called "Login Note".  But I don't see this field in Windows whichever way I open the Vault.

I find this very confusing.  Why do the fields show up in one view but not another? Am I missing something?

This is dependent on if you are viewing the Vault through a Browser  or  through the Norton Application of NPM.  The Set up for NPM is different from the format used on the Norton GUI and the browser's extension.

The NOTE field is present in both the browser version (your b) and the Norton Application version (your a) of NPM.

Also FWIW the above image of Notes are the exact same as I have on my Android Phone version of NPM.

Re: Missing fields (Tags, Login Notes) in Norton Password Manager

Thanks Yank for your reply.  Why do Norton include Tags in one app but not in another, I wonder?  Presumably the apps all use the same database.

I agree that the "Notes" (as illustrated in your post) are the same in the Android and Windows apps. These Notes are not associated with particular Logins.  But "LogIn Notes" in the Android app are different.  In the Android app I can edit a Login Note when I edit a particular Login. The Login Note is then tied to that particular Login.  I can't see or edit these Login Notes in Windows.

Hope this explains my confusion!  Thanks again for replying.
