What program? Why why do you think scanning it with Norton will fix it? Simply right click on it and select "scan with Norton".

Hello betseyd112

You can also create a custom scan. Security>Scans>Create a Custom Scan. Follow the directions when you click on Create a Custom Scan.

Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.18.0.213 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

@betseyd112:

To scan only 1 program on your computer, you can either use the right-click menu or scan the entire install folder that contains the target program:

As for Norton custom scan, this KB may help U get started w/ said setting as well.

Thx. :)

I actually captured the following image last night, but real-life got in the way of me finishing the post.  Simply go to the program/folder you desire to scan, right click it and use the context menu to scan it.

Re: How to scan only one program?

You can't just scan one program.

As outlined above you can scan single files or program folders but in most cases the entire program will not be located in a single folder.  Parts of the program can reside in other places like drivers, program data, app data, all users, etc.
