Re: How can I print the contents of my vault?

Open your Norton Security product and click on the Online Safety pillar. Then click on Norton Password Manger and log into your vault. Then at the bottom of the vault window, click on the gear icon and then on the Import/Export tab. Choose the Plain Text - CSV file option. That will save the vault contents in a format that can be opened in Notepad or a spreadsheet program, and then printed out.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

My Safe only shows IMPORT as an option?

What happens if I use the Password Generator to generate passwords and then lose access to the safe, if I do not have a backup file of the obscure passwords that have been generated?

Are you accessing the vault from your main Norton Security product, and seeing the same screen I posted? If not, it sounds like you may have logged into the vault web site. That only offers the import option.

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Be sure to mask any personal information.

You are welcome.

Unfortunately, the important feature of the vault backup is not as easy to find as one might hope. And with the new browser extensions, the feature is not even offered. So if a user were to use Norton Password Manager without having a Norton Security product on their system they would have no way to back up the vault at all.

Sorry I'm late, must have ate too much turkey!  LOL

Something I have noticed, that I had not noticed before is that there I an Export option in the drop down within the Password Manager as shown in the following Image:

Clicking the Export Vault will ask for your Vault password (it is a Protected Vault Option) and then display your vault in CSV format.

Is this something new - or something I just missed before?  It seems the Import was there before as @peterweb stated above.

Nice find @yank

I have not used NPM much, except for testing, so I did not know about that option. Although, it still does not give a true vault backup feature like the Import/Export tab in the Norton Security program.
