Diagnostic Reports Do Not Work in Windows 10 Pro

I have three Windows 10 Pro system running and all three the diagnostic reports Do Not work in Windows 10 Pro. On my Windows 7 Pro system the reports work fine. I already uninstalled and reinstalled Norton with no change to any. Any help here.

Already tried all this. The Diagnostics Report will work every now and then. But 99% of the time nothing.

I spent a good number of hours with Norton Chat. Every time I've contacted support their answer is always to uninstall and reinstall Norton. The report will come up if you try to start three of four times and stop Norton and Restart if your likely it will show the report. Issue is not fixed like they want to believe. Is there a way to report this as a bug or defect to Norton on Windows 10. It works fine on Windows 7.

Harley, this issue isn't affecting my Win10 machines so it may not be wide spread, however I will bring it to the attention of Symantec.  You may get a reply in this thread or perhaps a PM.

Yank that is exactly what I'm talking about. Sometimes I have to close Norton and restart it for the report to start up. This is a defect it never use to act like this. On two of my Computers the report won't start up at all. Can we make sure that Symantec knows about this so it can be fixed.

Any news on a fix yet. Another thing I noticed this morning. If you go to Run Scans, Custom Scan, Edit Scan, then set your run time to (Mines Set at) 1:00 A.M. Saturday. There's no problem here. But if you go to Settings, Tasks Scheduling, Scheduling and try to set it to the same time as above. It will always default to 06:00 A.M.. You can change it but it will always go back to 06:00 A.M. This only happens on all three Windows 10 Computers. It does not happen on a Windows 7 Computer. Can you make sure this gets to Symantec for a fix also.

Hi Harley55,

I am not on Win 10, so I can not test what you are saying and as you stated - it works fine on WIN 7 - so I can't see what you are saying. 

I did test it on WIN 7 and as long as I hit the APPLY, the time changes to 1 AM - for the scheduled TASKS to be completed with the automatic full scans.

Below is a screen-shot of what I think you are talking about - so does that highlighted in yellow affect what you are saying?  I read that as the selected tasks will be run in conjunction with the automatic background scanning's Full System Scan - it does not say with the Custom Scan.

Hopefully Norton is following this thread and will see your concerns.

Yank The problem is under Scheduling it's at 6:00 when you try to change it to 1:00 it won't stay. It works fine in Windows 7. In Windows 10 no. Is there a way that I can push this to Symantec myself. Do you know who I can contact. Zip file is attached. Let me know if you can see it.

Harley - I was able to view your attachment.  I notice that the APPLY is grayed out. 

On WIN 7 as a test, I was able to select the CLOSE (instead of the APPLY) after changing the settings to the ones you desire and a box came up asking if I wanted to save the settings as shown in the image below and they would be changed.  I also noticed that changing the Settings from Automatic to Weekly and changing the time did not enable the APPLY button.  I needed to select a day before the APPLY button would enable.

Once again, this was on WIN 7, but I would believe that it should work the same on WIN 10. 

I have asked Mohan_G to pass this info on to the team.
