Norton weekly error : 3048,3 & 13000,100

last week I got erro 3048, 3 and all I did was turn on my pc

and there was no updates to get ( there solution)

this morning turn on my pc and get another error 13000, 100

and 5th person now and no help what so ever ( got no help at all with last weeks)

seems getting issues weekly now for some reason

must be there server that " they cant fix"

When you say you are turning on your computer, if you have Win 8 or 10, and have the Fast Startup feature turned on, your system is not actually getting a full restart. Try using the Restart option of Windows to ensure all software is fully updated and installed.

If you are seeing regular issues, it may also be time to try getting a fresh install of your Norton product using the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.    www.norton.com/nrnr   Be sure you read the before you begin section, and run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

turning on computer as in pressing the power button and signing in

really do you need charts and graphs for that?

and that's all I did was start it and get these errors

and yes I know your fast start up excuse fix all that does nothing

I should not be getting errors when I just turn on my pc

chat support and phone all a waste of time they know nothing beyond there scripts

and how dare I expect an answer to a simple valid question

lots of disconnects and hang ups

odd how they have no accountability

If you are using the shutdown command in Win 10, and Fast Startup is enabled, you are not getting the complete shutdown necessary to update running system files. If Norton has a pending update that needs a system restart, it could explain the errors you are seeing. As we can not see the user's system, and do not know how it is configured, that is why we ask this question time and time again.

If you previously turned off Fast Startup and you recently received the Spring Update for Windows, that feature is probably turned back on.

 If this is not the situation with your computer, have you tried the reinstall of your Norton product.

first off I don't use windows 10 nor do I want to as long as I have a choice

second I should not be getting any error just turning on my pc

One more piece of info. No Win 10. What OS are you using?

Have you tried the reinstall as per this Norton KB article for the 3048, 3 error?
