Saving to Cloud on a second computer

I've been backing up most things to Cloud for a while now, but my wife has been backing up to her D drive, and that's now full.  Although she is covered by my Norton subscription, she hasn't been aware of Cloud storage, so I'd like to know the process she needs to follow to use Cloud for storage and back-up. We've tried but it always leads us to a sign-in page that will not let her either sign in or create a new account. Any help would be great.

Re: Saving to Cloud on a second computer

First, be aware that the cloud storage space allowed with your subscription is shared. ie If you have 50 GB, that is for all computers on your subscription, not 50 GB each.

Second. All computers have to be signed into your Norton Account. They cannot run backups on their own Norton Account.

If you are OK with this, you just have to go to her computer and get her signed into your Norton Account, and then set up the backup set using your cloud storage as the destination.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Saving to Cloud on a second computer

Many thanks for the explanation. I've hardly used any cloud space, but my wife needs massive amounts for all that she's saving. Rather than buying extra space, I might consider buying her  a 1tb or 2tb external drive instead. I save all my photos and videos onto a 111gb external drive and it's less than half full after 7 years.
